I have provided quality, cost-effective legal advice, negotiation, drafting, and advocacy skills to a range of publicly traded and private businesses and to individuals since 1990.
I act as general counsel or as special counsel to businesses and to senior management of businesses, large and small. Most commonly, my advice is sought for corporate structuring, capital markets and securities compliance, debt and equity financings, venture capital transactions, mergers, acquisitions and other transactional work, contracts, intellectual property protection, licensing and distribution matters.
I have co-founded several media and entertainment businesses and continue to lend my services as an executive-for-hire when required.
I have appeared as lead counsel before the Ontario Court of Appeal, at all levels of the Ontario trial courts, and before the Ontario Securities Commission.
